WHAT IS A Wi TROUGH LINTEL?
Wi Trough Lintels by Wembley Innovation are designed to provide an alternative to traditional concrete and steel lintels.
The patented Wi Trough Lintel U-blocks allow the construction in situ of integral reinforced concrete lintels within the blockwork construction, eliminating the need for heavyweight lintels.
Wi Trough Lintel blocks are Paint Grade, manufactured from specially selected aggregates, giving a grey, close-textured finish. Wi Trough Lintels perfectly integrate with blockwork walls, considerably improving finished appearance.
All Wi Trough lintels are 4hr fire rated and meet the CDM Regulations obligations, eliminating high-risk handling operations.
WHAT SIZES DO THEY COME IN?
Wi Trough Lintel U-blocks come in the standard UK format sizes of 100mm, 140mm, 190mm and 215mm wide x 215mm high.
No need to order specific lintel lengths, the Wi Trough Lintels are simply constructed in situ using the patented U-blocks.
No more manual handling issues, the heaviest Wi Trough Lintel component only weighs 18kg!
Wi TROUGH LINTEL DESIGN
Wi Trough Lintels are designed as simply supported beams, spanning between supports.
Wi Trough Lintels can span to lengths up to 3m.

Minimum recommended bearing length for Wi Trough Lintels is 225mm (half a block).

Construction of a Wi Trough Lintel is very straight forward and can be easily achieved by a competent bricklayer.
