This £100 million development designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte and developed by BNP Paribas Real Estate provides the new London Headquarters for Google Europe. The 11-storey building houses retail space, office space and a staff fitness centre.
Wembley Innovation were able to provide assistance to the designers by offering a system of Wi Columns and Beams that removed over 250 windposts and lintels. The main contractor’s construction programme was only achievable as result of the programme savings manifested by the introduction of the Wi System. The design, lead in and delivery of a traditional windpost solution would have been prohibitive.
