  • Granary Building

Wembley Innovation has been involved at the Granary Building and its enjoining pair of transit sheds since the development first kicked off in 2008. Central St Martins College of Art & Design are the main tenants. Due to the natural of the courses and subjects taught, the large room spaces and performance areas were a natural fit for the WI System’s ability to provide large spanning blockwork panels. Many of the walls were over 7m tall; the WI System could divide these large areas of blockwork into smaller panels, whilst retaining a flush wall without any columns or windposts. This was essential considering a number of the walls are used as art gallery spaces and back drops for photography and film projects.

The success of these projects has lead onto the award of more contracts within the area; Wembley Innovation has been involved on 11 of the projects within Kings Cross Regeneration development.
